The 415-acre Camp Hero State Park is a heavily wooded area with a long area of beachfront on the Atlantic Ocean. The park offers an extensive trail system for biking, hiking and horseback riding and excellent surf fishing. Picnicking is also common. Pets are allowed on leash.
